Camp M.E.R.C Reflection
Camp Reflection
In Camp M.E.R.C I enjoyed Archery and Body-Boarding, the water was cold though.
In Camp M.E.R.C I learnt how to put on a harness, how pollution and plastic kills sea life and who Sir Peter Blake was and why he's known around New Zealand.
The things that surprised me in Camp is how climbing and abseiling looks easy until you do the activities.
I am most proud of doing Abseiling, Giant’s Ladder and Cimbing without any fear of heights.
The advice I would give for the next Year 6’s is:
When you’re Climbing, Abseiling or Giant’s Ladder, don’t be afraid because you’re on safety equipment.
