About the Artist

About the Artist Earl Padaen is 10 years old and his favourite subjects at school are Maths, Art and PE.  He lives in Pakuranga, Auckland.  He was born on the 31st October 2004.  He is a Year 6 student at Elm Park School.  Earl has just started to attend Elm Park School for his first year.  Earl’s family comes from the Philippines. Earl’s favourite part in doing his art was painting and blending the colour wheel because he liked to make it look realistic.   The School Values that Earl has used to complete his piece of art were perseverance because he has been trying to do his best art work and to achieve his personal best and quality because he made his work to a high standard.  Earl has learned how to drybrush as a new art technique. When Earl grows up he wants to be a Youtuber.
